How to Find Your Purpose
This morning after practicing the Self-Realization Fellowship scientific methods of pranayama (life force control) meditation, I went into a loving and peaceful stillness.
It was the feeling of ever-new joy Paramahansa Yogananda talks about.
I felt Raph (my guardian angel), my angels, and mom’s presence.
My body cascaded with goosebumps as I felt Raph’s angelic hands over the front and back of my body around my heart-center.
But here is the deepest part of the message I received:
FORGIVE YOURSELF
A Course in Miracles talks about forgiveness as our core purpose here, but I just realized and understood it on the deepest level in this meditation.
We are here to forgive ourselves because we have self-created everything we see. Everything here.
We created the stress we feel in our lives.
We created our own mental need to “be” someone of value or importance here.
We created the narrative and concept that the more we do, the more we become.
We self-created our need to be “successful,” wealthy,” and “powerful” as a way to feel worthy in the eyes of others and consequently ourselves.
But the truth of the matter is, we already are worthy.
We already are everything we seek to become.
I am that. You are that. We are that.
There is just wholeness and oneness, for we were created in wholeness.
Our purpose here is ever-new joy.
A soul’s mission is closely associated with its gifts.
Every soul has its gifts.
Those gifts are aligned with what brings that soul ever-new joy.
It brings joy to the soul, the human body the soul occupies, and helps to bring joy, healing, and service to the other souls and bodies that surround it within our third-dimensional, third-density earthly existence.
Art, music, carpentry, business, healing, CREATION.
When you create using your gift, bringing service to the world and joy to your being, you are living your purpose in spreading love.
We are slowly heading that direction. Things like AI will allow creative pursuits to be sought more often.
Yet this is where self-forgiveness comes in.
The fear must be released.
The over-identification with the physical world and body must be released.
The trapped emotions must be released, healed, loved, and repatterned.
It is all fear. We have self-created our fear-based world and that world must be looked upon with loving forgiveness of the self.
If it is easier to start with forgiveness of the other, start there.
But all is just one.
All you see is a fractalization of one.
Therefore, within forgiveness of the self, you are acknowledging the self-created fear construct you have built your foundation on.
Fear is the mud you sink deeper into the engrossed material reality with.
You wouldn’t build your house on top of mud, so why build your entire perceived world on it?
Through self-forgiveness of this fearful world you’ve created, you begin to see yourself and all those around you through the loving eyes of unity.
Everyone is searching for purpose.
When the fear is removed, your purpose becomes fully clear and apparent.
To live in ever-new joy, expressing love to those around you by sharing your gift in service to others.
It is not difficult, but the road to realizing this is fraught with self-resistance.
For the ego self will dissolve if and when you accept that truth. And everything it has built itself upon will crumble.
The house built on mud will slide into the sea and the Kingdom you occupy will become readily apparent.
It all starts with self-forgiveness for the world which you believe you have created.
With the stresses, obligations, wants, expectations, desires, judgments, and attachments therein.
If you think you’ve forgiven, forgive again. For your fellow human, and for you.
Through the tall grass, the clearing will be seen.
The one you’ve been in all along, but were too busy planting the tall grass to realize you were in the open pasture all along.
