Approach life like a surfer.
Paddle out on the waters of life.
You may take some time learning how to balance on the board, but it will happen sooner than you expect.
You may have to wait a while for a wave to come your direction, but soon enough, it will come.
You may get thrashed about on a wave for a while, but all waves crash back into the ocean.
When the wave tumbles you down – and washes you back to the shore from whence you started – paddle back out on the ocean of life.
For soon enough, a wave will come with your name on it. You will stand strong on that board and ride the wave of that life experience, until it brings you back to the shore from whence you came.
And you will go out again.
Sometimes waiting for the wave to come, sometimes falling by the white foam of the tumult, sometimes riding the pipe dream of glistening blue.
And when your body grows tired, and you are ready to retire, you will once again come back to the sandy shore from whence you came.
Only to look longingly again at that ocean, ready to ride the next wave again.
